God in Government


"It's not everyday you find yourself in the Governors office at the Minnesota State Capitol. Yet, that's where Rev. Ilene Blanche was invited to be for a personal photo shoot with Gov. Tim Pawlenty. The call came as a result of Lake City's exemplary participation over the past few years in the National Day of Prayer. "


"Rev. Blanche has coordinated the Lake City Program for the past five years. State Coordinator, Sharon Aldrich was impressed with Lake City as she saw the Mayor, young people with trumpets and so many different clergy come together. She decided to honor Lake City and Rev. Blanche with this invitation to meet personnally with the Governor for the signing of the proclamation."


"Rev. Blanche also takes groups of people to the State Capitol meeting with other Christians to pray and interceed for all government."
